HONOR has announced the successor to last year’s MagicBook 14 laptop model. The device is equipped with the latest 12th generation Intel Core processor with a choice of NVIDA RTX 2050 or MX550 graphics accelerator. The 14-inch screen has a resolution of 2.1K with an aspect ratio of 3:2. Standard brightness – up to 300 nits, color gamut – 100% sRGB. The manufacturer claims TÜV Rheinland, Low Blue Light and No Screen Flicker certification.
The new MagicBook 14 has an all-metal body that is light, thin and compact. The company says it’s the world’s first 14-inch laptop with a 75Wh battery that supports 100W fast charging and reverse charging when off. The device can be fully charged in 80 minutes. It is also the first model in the industry to include a 100W GaN charger as standard.
The design of the laptop uses two lattice-type air intakes, and their area is increased by 31.7%. The company’s engineers adopted a new design of the heat dissipation system with double symmetrical fan. The total air volume has increased by 35% and heat dissipation by 56% compared to its predecessor. Fan noise during operation is about 20 dB.
The MagicBook 14 runs Magic OS, which is essentially a custom version of Windows. For HONOR, this is the first laptop equipped with proprietary HONOR OS Turbo technology. It allows you to reduce power consumption by 39.6%, and increase the response speed by 17.9%.
