Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme offers RTX 3080 graphics in a slim design

Lenovo has announced the fourth generation of its flagship ThinkPad X1 Extreme line. The laptop still boasts top-of-the-line hardware while still sporting a thin and light carbon fiber chassis (17.7mm / 1.81kg).

The new X1 Extreme features an improved cooling system to ensure the proper operating conditions for the 11th Gen Intel Core i9 H-series processor and graphics up to NVIDIA RTX 3080 (base versions RTX 3050 Ti). The laptop can be equipped with up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, and the onboard storage can be configured with two 2TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 SSDs.

In addition, there is a Full HD webcam (maybe with IR sensors), speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a fingerprint scanner. From the connection interfaces, HDMI 2.1, two USB-C 3.1, two Thunderbolt 4, SD reader, 3.5 mm audio jack are available.

The cost of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme starts at € 2099, the laptop will go on sale in August this year.
