Yesterday, January 17, Samsung officially introduced a new line of flagship smartphones Galaxy S24. They will be the first to receive One UI 6.1 firmware based on Android 14 operating system out of the box. However, in the near future the firmware will reach other models of the South Korean brand.
In addition to the newest line, One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI intelligence features will appear in the following smartphones:
- Galaxy S23;
- Galaxy S23 FE;
- Galaxy S23+;
- Galaxy S23 Ultra;
- Galaxy Z Fold 5;
- Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Samsung also confirmed that owners of any Galaxy Tab S9 series tablet computers will be able to update. These smartphones and tablets are included in the first wave of updates – they should be updated before June 2024.
Unfortunately, company representatives did not say which artificial intelligence functions will be available to owners of the above devices.
“Galaxy AI is end-to-end mobile artificial intelligence running both on the Samsung device and in the cloud, made possible through our open collaboration with industry leaders. “It will transform your everyday mobile experience and provide the peace of mind you’ve come to expect from Galaxy security and privacy,” Samsung said.
