No sooner have users upgraded to iOS 16.2 than Apple is already releasing the first beta of iOS 16.3. So far only for developers, the version for public beta testers will appear in a week or two.

What’s new in iOS 16.3?

The system now supports hardware security keys for additional protection of your Apple ID account.

Security keys are designed to replace the verification codes that are sent to Apple devices when you sign in to your account on another device.

While the function is in beta, you can set it up in the Apple ID account menu. The feature also appeared in early betas of iPadOS 16.3 and macOS Ventura 13.2. All systems support only certified FIDO security keys.

More innovations in the system were not noticed, but this is only the first beta! Perhaps it is in this version that a service for listening to classical music will appear , which is being developed on the basis of the acquired Primephonic.
