A new inexpensive smartphone from POCO has been registered in the IMEI database of the global association of telecom operators and equipment manufacturers GSMA. The model, codenamed “Air” with the internal index C3V, will hit the market as POCO C65 and is a rebranding of the new Redmi 13C, which has not yet been officially presented. This is reported by Xiaomiui, which verified the information.
POCO C65 will be powered by a MediaTek processor, the specifications of the chip have not yet been revealed. Like Redmi 13C, the sub-brand analogue is equipped with a triple camera with a 50-megapixel sensor as the main one and built-in AI functions. Other innovations include a USB-C connector with support for fast charging and pre-installed MIUI 14 firmware based on the Android 13 operating system.
The POCO C65 model numbers listed in the GSMA IMEI database are 2310FPCA4G and 2310FPCA4I, with the letters “G” and “I” at the end indicating the regions where the smartphone will be available. This means that POCO C65 will be launched in both the Global and Indian markets.
