After numerous leaks, Xiaomi has officially announced the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone, which is the first device in the new series. As the company explained, the new series will be positioned between the K and Note series, with an emphasis on performance. If K series smartphones are positioned as devices with the best hardware capabilities, then Turbo smartphones will be sub-flagships with a powerful platform. In particular, Redmi Turbo 3 will receive the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It is inferior to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in performance, but more powerful than Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Redmi Turbo 3 has the now classic design with flat edges, but at the same time it is thin. There is a dual camera on the back. The modules themselves are made simply – two circles located vertically, and to the right of them in the middle there is a flash. The manufacturer did not show the front part, but according to leaks, the Turbo 3 looks similar to the Redmi K70E from the front. The smartphone will be available in three color options. The upcoming new product scores 1,754,299 points in the AnTuTu benchmark, which is a very respectable result.
Redmi Turbo 3 with number 24069RA21C has already passed 3C certification. The regulator’s database indicates that the smartphone supports fast wired charging with a power of 90 W. In addition, it also appeared in the GeekBench database, where it scores 1981 points in the single-core test and 5526 points in the multi-core test. The test model of the smartphone in the benchmark is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and 16 GB of RAM.
It is worth noting that Redmi’s portfolio already includes smartphones with the “Turbo” prefix. For example, Redmi Note 12 Turbo.
