The Chinese company Vivo announced the Y22 smartphone running the FunTouch OS 12 operating system. The device is equipped with a 6.55-inch HD + screen with a resolution of 1612 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The “heart” of the device is the Helio G85 processor developed by MediaTek: eight cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz, a Mali-G52 graphics accelerator and a 4G modem are combined. Buyers can choose between 4GB and 6GB RAM versions. The capacity of the flash module is 64 and 128 GB, respectively (plus a microSD card).
The front camera with an 8-megapixel sensor is located in a drop-shaped screen cutout. The dual rear camera combines a 50-megapixel main unit and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The smartphone has Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Installed battery capacity of 5000 mAh with support for 18-watt charging. Dimensions are 164.3 × 76.1 × 8.38 mm, weight – 190 g.
The handset is offered in Starlit Blue, Summer Cyan and Metaverse Green color options starting at $160.
