The Hong Kong company AstraLab has published a teaser of the new Nonikkor 24mm F/1.7 lens for cameras with APS-C format matrices: Nikon Z and Fujifilm X. In one of its latest videos, the manufacturer revealed some of the details about the future new product.
Judging by the image presented in the video, the new lens will be very compact and made in a “pancake” form factor. The next slide shown in the video indicates that the Nonikkor 24mm F/1.7 lens can also be released for the M4/3 mount.
ArtraLab’s new lens will compete with the Nikkor Z 24mm F/1.7 and Voigtlander Ultron 27mm F/2 lenses already on the market. At the same time, the new product will probably be cheaper, due to which the manufacturer plans to meet the demand for new optics.
However, the detailed characteristics of the fast Nonikkor 24mm F/1.7 lens, as well as its price at the start of sales, have not yet been disclosed.
