According to some sources, Canon plans to soon introduce a new budget mirrorless camera Canon EOS R100 with an APS-C sensor along with a Canon RF 28mm F / 2.8 STM lens. In addition, the prices for these products are already known:
- The Canon EOS R100 camera body alone will cost $479.
- A single lens kit (RF-S 18-45mm IS STM) will be available for $599.
- A kit with two zoom lenses (RF-S 18-45mm and RF-S 55-210mm) will be priced at $829.

Canon EOS R100 camera
There is also some information about the specifications of the Canon EOS R100 camera:
- The resolution of the sensor will be 24 megapixels . The same sensor is installed in the Canon EOS R50 and Canon EOS R10 cameras.
- The camera will be equipped with an electronic shutter
- The camera will be able to record video in 4K at 24 and 30 frames per second, 10-bit HDRPOQ mode will not be supported.
So those are the main details about the upcoming lens and the upcoming Canon EOS R100 entry-level mirrorless camera. The expected camera will be the successor to the Canon EOS M 200.
