Is Xiaomi working on a smartphone with an MFT sensor?

The latest Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone uses a large (for mobile phones) 1-inch sensor. Now the 43rumors resource , citing its source, reports that  Xiaomi is trying to install a full-fledged MFT sensor in its next flagship.

In essence, this would double the size of a 1-inch sensor, which seems like an incredible task. And the idea of ​​having a smartphone with a sensor like the OM-1 looks very attractive.

However, it seems to us that the main problem here is not in the physical placement of the sensor, but in the use of its entire area in conjunction with smartphone lenses, which has just begun to work with inch sensors.

By the way, we have repeatedly heard from various sources that the Chinese company is really working on a prototype camera or module that will receive an MFT sensor.
