Leica has introduced a new model of hybrid camera in the line SL , which uses the full-length matrix CMOS-BSI 24×36 mm with a resolution of 24 MP .
The sensor is paired with a proprietary Maestro III processor , supplemented with 4 GB of RAM . The matrix is stabilized in five axes, and the sensitivity reaches 100,000 ISO . Shooting speed – up to 25 frames per second using an electronic obturator. The multishot function allows you to take pictures with a resolution of 96 MP .
In video mode, the Leica SL2 S can shoot videos in 4K or C4K 4: 2: 2 10-bit 30 fps , and 60 fps is available when an external recording device is connected via HDMI . In early 2021, the camera software will be updated, which will expand the capabilities of video shooting.
The body of the camera is made of metal and protected according to the IP54 standard from dust and moisture.
