LG Electronics (LG) introduces the LG CineBeam HU810PW for high-end home theater systems. Key features include a 3-channel 2-color laser source for accurate color reproduction, 97% wide DCI-P3 color gamut for true-to-life colors, 4K UHD resolution for superb detail, and 2,700 ANSI lumens for high contrast and extended HDR color gamut.
The new model provides optimal quality for any image in any space of your home. The LG CineBeam projector with 8.3 megapixels and 4K UHD Laser technology delivers outstanding precision and detail up to a maximum screen diagonal of 300-inches.
With Lens Shift (H ± 24%, V ± 60%) and Zoom x1.6, you can place the device in a convenient location and adjust the projection exactly to size and location.
The projector displays high-definition, high-density video content via an HDMI 2.1 connection and can output 10-bit images with 4: 4: 4 RGB. Supports eARC.
With a 2,000,000: 1 contrast ratio, it delivers high black levels and other hues thanks to the 97% DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
Aperture mode is designed to effectively display the picture in both bright light and dark room: depending on the lighting conditions of the viewing space, you can change the aperture mode. Adaptive Contrast adds depth to your image by adjusting the power of the laser source to match the image for high contrast. Bright scenes look brighter, while dark scenes remain detailed with deep black details and shadows.
Filmmaker mode disables motion anti-aliasing and other video processing settings, allowing the filmmaker’s intent to be accurately conveyed.
HDR pro enhances the quality by making the brighter part of the image brighter and the darker darker by taking advantage of the details of the dark side. The device is compatible with nearly all industry HDR standards (HDR10, Dynamic Tone Mapping, HLG and HGiG). With Dolby Atmos pass-through, you don’t need any additional hardware to get high quality sound. In addition, the 5 + 5W speakers built into the projector allow you to reproduce sound without connecting an external audio system.
This model boasts a long light source life of 20,000 hours (at high brightness) and 30,000 hours (in economy mode). It is easy to calculate that such a resource is enough to watch at least 10 thousand full-length films, or for 27 years, if you limit yourself to one film a day!
The LG HU810PW is a smart projector: with webOS 5.0, you can watch a variety of TV shows and movies just by connecting to your Wi-Fi network. You can watch videos with built-in apps like Amazon Prime Video, MEGOGO, iVi, Okko, Kinopoisk HD and many more. And control the projector conveniently with the Magic Remote Control with intelligent backlighting.
You can also conveniently stream video, display screen and sound using AirPlay 2 (for iOS devices), use Screen Share (for wireless Miracast® devices), and connect speakers or headphones via Bluetooth connection. It is also possible to play files from USB media.
Such a projector will allow you to create a personal home theater with excellent picture and sound quality, which is very important if you prefer watching movies outside of public places.
The LG HU810PW projector is expected togo on sale May 2021.
