The intelligent technologies that the Samsung JetBot 90 AI + robot vacuum has received optimize the cleaning route and allow it to interact with the surrounding space. The Samsung JetBot 90 AI + has been honored with the CES Innovation Awards .
The Samsung JetBot 90 AI + , the world’s first intelligent robot vacuum cleaner powered by Intel® AI , keeps floors clean with minimal user effort. Using a combination of sensors and AI-enhanced object recognition technology, the JetBot 90 AI + moves neatly around your home. A LiDAR sensor , similar to that used in self-driving cars, detects distance and tracks the device’s location for precise movements. The 3D sensor recognizes the difference between objects such as a toy and a chair leg, detects even small objects on the floor and determines the layout of the room to take into account during maneuvers.
An intelligent algorithm allows the vacuum cleaner to identify objects of all types and map out the safest and most efficient movements. The JetBot 90 AI + then uses this information to clean near objects on the floor, while keeping a safe distance from delicate and fragile items, and, if necessary, penetrating under furniture. If the vacuum cleaner classifies an object as potentially hazardous or capable of causing contamination, the device will simply go around it.
When cleaning the floor, the advanced digital inverter motor JetBot 90 AI + makes the most of the suction power of 30W, combined with the Jet Cyclone system , which traps airborne dust and dirt from the floor. The self-cleaning brush made from fine fibers of soft woven fabric collects dust from hard surfaces and effectively penetrates crevices.
After cleaning is complete, the JetBot 90 AI + automatically returns to Samsung ‘s proprietary Clean Station ™ , where the collected debris and dust fall into a special bag that only needs to be changed every two to three months.
When connected to a smartphone via the Samsung SmartThings app , the JetBot 90 AI + transfers control to the user, allowing you to schedule cleaning, set no-go zones on the map, and even connect to a camera to keep track of your home and pets.
