HUAWEI Band 8
HUAWEI Band 8

HUAWEI has just presented a new smart bracelet, which comes to complete its catalog of wearables. It retains the design lines of previous brand launches, such as the HUAWEI Band 7 that we already tested, but with some subtle differences in its specifications. Let’s discover them.

Technical characteristics of the HUAWEI Band 8

This HUAWEI Band 8 stands out first of all for its generous screen, which has a diagonal of  1.47 inches . It is tactile and has AMOLED technology, as well as a resolution of 194 x 368 px. At this point, it is worth mentioning that it comes with  5 ATM water resistance . Its total dimensions are  43.45 x 24.54 x 8.99 mm  and the weight is  14 grams , without counting the strap.

Regarding its functions, we can mention that it comes with notification management, physical activity monitoring and monitoring of our health, as the main points. All this is achieved thanks to the inclusion of various sensors: gyroscope, accelerometer, Huawei TruSeen 5.0 optical heart rate sensor and SpO2 meter.

With them we can measure the quality of our sleep, our heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, the calories we burn during our exercise or the distances traveled, among others. It allows us to monitor  more than 100 different sports modes .

Regarding its battery, we can indicate that it offers a range of  up to 14 days , and if what interests you is its connectivity, it comes with  WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 . Finally, mention that it is compatible with  Android 6.0, iOS 9.0 and HarmonyOS 2  and, of course, higher versions of these operating systems.

Availability and price

This new HUAWEI smart bracelet is now available for a price of  59.90 euros . In addition, it comes with a unique launch offer thanks to which, if you buy two units, you will get the second one with a  50% discount . You can find it now in the  official HUAWEI store . Available colors are  black, pink or green
