The German company BETONart Audio , known for its concrete speaker systems, has released a huge active subwoofer TYREXX .
It has two woofers with a diameter of 21 inches (54 cm) in a closed acoustic design and built-in amplifiers with a total power of up to 5 kilowatts ! Of course, the subwoofer enclosure is also made of concrete, and this woofer unit weighs 260 kilograms .
The model is capable of operating in the range from 18 to 100 Hz , and a dedicated processor helps to ensure maximum output, taking into account the acoustic conditions in the room. The dimensions of the BETONart Audio TYREXX subwoofer are 155 x 58 x 40 cm , connection is possible both to balanced connectors and via RCA.
