The Bose SoundLink Flex portable speaker has been designed for powerful sound and increased protection.
Bose said the new SoundLink Flex is capable of delivering “amazing audio performance.” Bose drew attention to a dedicated driver that is designed to provide clear and bass reproduction, and promised that the bass would be felt in the chest.
In addition to the main speaker, the speaker contains two passive radiators. This set is controlled by a proprietary processor. The system makes sure that there is no distortion. In addition, DSP is able to determine the position of the speaker in space and adjust the sound accordingly – this technology is called “PositionIQ”.
The speaker can memorize up to eight Bluetooth devices. All source-related customizations will be available through the Bose Connect app. The model is equipped with a microphone for telephone conversations, and is also ready to work in paired mode, that is, two speakers for stereo sound can be combined into one system.
In terms of security, the new product received an IP67 rating. This means that the device is not afraid of water, dust, dirt. The built-in battery lasts 12 hours on a single charge. The battery is recharged with a USB-C cable.
In the US, the Bose SoundLink Flex was asked for $ 150.
