Gold Note launches the new A6 EVO II floorstanding speakers
Gold Note A6 EVO II
The Gold Note A6 EVO II floorstanders can indeed be called sophisticated: in cross section their size is only 230 x 285 mm.
True, the massive wooden base goes far beyond these dimensions. The ultra-rigid design features two diamond-shaped side panels with aluminum inserts that the manufacturer claims improves power management.

A pair of 5″ SEAS woofers made of treated paper boast massive magnets. And finally, a 6-inch SEAS subwoofer with a woven polypropylene cone. It is housed in a custom sealed die-cast metal case. The downward-firing speaker is matched with the stand.
Overall, the design delivers a claimed frequency response of 40Hz-20kHz ±3dB and a sensitivity of 88dB SPL 2.83V/1m. The Gold Note A6 EVOII has a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Crossover switching – at 60 Hz and 2000 Hz at a slope of 12 dB / oct. Crossover components are manufactured exclusively by Mundorf and Clarity.
The loudspeaker is mounted on a solid wooden stand with a bottom bass reflex port. The manufacturer believes that there were no compromises in the design, and only the highest quality parts were chosen.
