Harman/Kardon Onyx Studio 7: Different speaker layout in classic design

The updated Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 speaker system became known at the beginning of the year , but then it was reported that the speaker would go to the US market.

According to a press release, Onyx Studio 7 is a return to the “clean design of the first devices in the series”, but with a complete redesign.

In Onyx Studio 7, the following changes have occurred: the passive radiator has moved under the front grill, and the mid-range 120 mm speaker received two 25 mm tweeters in support. This scheme will allow you to play content in stereo.

The total power of the speaker system was 50 W. You can stream music to the speaker system via Bluetooth, and alternate playback from two devices connected at the same time is also supported. The built-in rechargeable battery is rated for 8 hours of playtime without pauses.

The company emphasized that Onyx Studio 7 stands out for its signature “impeccable workmanship” and premium materials: the body is finished with acoustic fabric, and the carrying handle, shaped like a Saturn ring, is made of brushed anodized aluminum.

As for the colors, the designers have chosen three traditional colors for the series: in black, blue and white.
