The Danish brand Jamo has launched a new series of passive acoustic systems on the European market under the general name Studio 7.

Their distinguishing feature is a slight slope of the cabinets back from the vertical plane, which is designed to provide both a better orientation of the acoustic axes to the listener and improve interaction with the room in the low-frequency region. The cabinets have rounded corners and are made of 15mm MDF (front panel is 18mm thick ).

Especially for this series, mid-range and low-frequency drivers were developed with a special paper cone profile “Thor’s Hammer” (Thor’s Hammer). Profiled areas in the shape of the letter T provide additional rigidity to the membrane. High frequencies in all models are entrusted to the same 25 mm soft dome tweeters loaded on a small waveguide.

The series includes two floorstanding models Jamo S7-25F (800 euros) and Jamo S7-27F (950 euros), shelf monitors Jamo S7-15B (450 euros) and Jamo S7-17B (550 euros) and center channel speakers Jamo S7- 25C (€300) and Jamo S7-43C (€330).
