KEF has added Roon functionality to its LS50 Wireless II active speaker. This system has received Roon Ready status. That is, now the Roon software detects the LS50 Wireless II, connects to it and streams music without any additional configuration.

The model was released in September 2020 and has since received a lot of positive feedback from users and experts. The LS50 Wireless II is equipped with the digital technologies of the W2 platform.

The system works with bit rates up to 24 bit / 384 kHz, compatible with MQA and DSD. These speakers are packed with KEF Music Integrity Engine digital audio processing in compact enclosures. The total power of the built-in amplifiers is 760 W.

The LS50 Wireless II is the first KEF speaker to be Roon Ready.
