LG Electronics has unveiled a line of soundbars for the 2023 model year. The flagship model remains the S95QR introduced this year. She is waiting for an update of the system firmware and new functionality. New soundbars include the SC95 3.1.3-channel soundbar , designed as an optimal partner for C-series OLED TVs, the slim 3.1.3-channel S77S , and the compact 3.0-channel SE6S soundbar (an updated version of LG Eclair ). None of the new soundbars come with rear speakers.
New features for 2023 include Wow Orchestra technology , which syncs the soundbar with the LG TV’s audio system. Something similar was implemented by Samsung in Q-Symphony technology . In addition, LG Electronics offers an audio upscaler capable of converting a two-channel audio track to surround sound up to a 9.1.5 configuration. In addition, the new soundbars will be able to stream video at up to 4K 120Hz VRR, allowing next-generation game consoles to be connected to a TV through the soundbar.
LG’s 2023 soundbars support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X multi-channel soundtracks, as well as less advanced Dolby and DTS audio formats. Some of the new models are IMAX Enhanced certified .
