Portable speaker SRS-RA5000 from Sony has a truly original design. With its appearance, it resembles an electric razor, and its cost is 700 US dollars .

The company’s engineers said that during development they were thinking about how to position the speaker’s speakers to make it an ideal “partner” when working with a home theater system. The speakers are positioned to provide a 6.1 channel sound effect.

Sony also announced an updated S-Master HX sound amplification technology . It supports music with higher sampling rate. DSEE HX technology ups the sound quality from normal to Hi-Res .

The speaker drivers use mica fiber diaphragms. The device itself is made in black and gold shades.
