Electrocompaniet Tana SL2 wireless streaming speaker has been released to replace the previous version – Tana SL1 . The novelty has received an updated case, increased capabilities and improved firmware.
The Tana SL2 DAC operates at bitrates up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. To receive a digital signal via a cable, there are optical and coaxial digital inputs on the back of the case. They are complemented by a built-in streamer with Internet radio support, Tidal with Tidal Connect, Qobuz and Spotify Connect.

The Tana SL2 is also compatible with Apple AirPlay 2 and is Roon Ready. It can establish a network connection via wired Ethernet or wireless Wi-Fi. Another option for wireless audio will be provided by the built-in Bluetooth module.

The power of the built-in class AB amplifier is 150 W. In addition to the tweeter and bass driver, the Tana SL2’s aluminum casing houses a pair of passive radiators. All this is covered with fabric grills, which are easy to change with a new design.

The “slave” Tana L2 speaker is arranged in the same way (it does not work as an independent device), having bought it in addition, you can get a good home stereo. The Sira L1 subwoofer will complement the set for trifonics – it will add scale to the sound of low frequencies.

In Europe, the second version of the Electrocompaniet Tana costs 1,700 euros (SL2) and 1,500 euros (L2).
