Google has begun testing a new tier of subscriptions for its own services. For € 6.99 / month YouTube Premium Lite offers users ad-free video viewing. This option may be suitable for users who do not use the YouTube Music music service. But it should also be borne in mind that Premium Lite is deprived of such options as offline download of videos and video playback in the background.
