The cancellation of public events or their transfer to virtual mode is no longer a surprise to anyone. However, Europe’s largest technology event, the IFA, held annually in early September, is returning to its traditional format this year. At least, such a statement is made by its organizers.
As a reminder, the previous IFA 2020 exhibition was held in a limited mode with no public visits. Access was only allowed for journalists and experts by invitation. As a result, the total number of visitors to the exhibition was 6,000 people against 250,000 a year earlier. Accordingly, the event generated very limited interest from both participants and the public. Therefore, the desire of the organizers to quickly return IFA to its former glory is understandable.
We are thrilled to announce the high interest of the technology sector in our exhibition, which gives them a unique opportunity to present their innovations live to the global public and the media,”
IFA executives said.
The next exhibition is planned from 3 to 7 September this year in Berlin.
