CES 2021: LG Smart TVs Get Access to Google Stadia Gaming Cloud

LG Electronics announced a planned partnership with Google to integrate the cloud gaming service Stadia in smart TVs LG 2021 model year, the running of webOS . The first models to support Stadia are reported to arrive in the second half of this year. Thus, LG Smart TVs will be the first smart TVs to support Stadia out of the box.

Thanks to the partnership with Google , LG smart TV owners will be able to play popular games available in Stadia using only the branded controller. Plus, games will be able to take full advantage of LG TVs – 4K resolution , HDR , 5.1 surround sound, and more. Support for the Stadia service will be implemented in a special application downloaded to the TV from the LG Content Store . As a reminder, Stadia already provides the opportunity to play 130 popular games , and their number is constantly growing.

LG Electronics pay attention, that are ideal for the realization of all possibilities Stadia OLED-, QNED Mini-LED- and NanoCell-LG TVs will be presented in the virtual exhibition stand at the online exhibition CES 2021 , which will last until 14 January .
