Grundig presented a new Nano QLED TV at IFA 2023

At IFA 2023 , which recently concluded in Berlin, home appliances and electronics brand Grundig launched its new premium TV, the Nano QLED GH 8700 . And in November the new product will arrive in the stores of the M.Video and Eldorado retail chains .

Breathtaking pictures, rich sound and ease of use – with the Nano QLED GH 8700 TVs, Grundig offers a new level of immersion in content. The new product is the successor to the popular Grundig GGU 8960 model, which, in addition to an expanded color range, featured expressive sound, developed in collaboration with ELAC.

The model’s screen uses quantum dot technology with support for more than a billion shades of colors in 4K Ultra HD resolution and a display refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Nano QLED model is available in two diagonals: 55 and 65 inches. The new TV is the first Grundig model to feature Quantum Dot LED (QLED) backlight technology, resulting in vibrant and natural colors with deep black levels and high contrast. With 4K Ultra HD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), screen images are crisp and detailed, and HD and Full HD content is automatically upscaled to 4K Ultra HD.

The Nano QLED GH 8700 TV supports wide color gamut and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ standards for superior, high-contrast images. Dolby Vision IQ adjusts the brightness of a movie scene to match the lighting conditions in the room – the image becomes brighter in bright environments and darkens in dark ones. This means that no image detail will be lost.

The frame refresh rate in the Nano QLED GH 8700 model is 120 Hertz. This ensures clear and smooth movements in the frame even when viewing dynamic scenes, fast shooting and sports broadcasts. The TV supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). These technologies are especially important for gamers, as VRR and ALLM provide the best gaming experience by adapting to the capabilities of your gaming console.

A special “Filmmaker mode” ensures that users can enjoy films and TV series the way the director intended – without additional enhancements such as motion smoothing, soap opera effect, noise reduction, sharpening and additional adjustments to areas of the image. And all this can be configured in one click. To ensure high-quality sound, Grundig collaborates with acoustics specialists from the German company ELAC. The TV’s audio system of four speakers with a total power of 36 W, two of which are front speakers, provides perfectly clear sound.

The Nano QLED GH 8700 TV supports Grundig’s proprietary Magic Fidelity technology, which provides optimal sound at any volume level, including low. And Dolby Atmos support ensures that sound and volume are controlled individually and accurately for each individual audio source, putting viewers right in the middle of the action.

The Nano QLED GH 8700 TV runs the Google TV operating system. The new product comes with exclusive programs from Grundig – “Picture Customiser” and “Tone Master”, which allow you to quickly and easily customize the TV picture and sound to your taste. You no longer need to dive deep into your TV settings to get the best results. The built-in light sensor allows you to automatically adjust the image brightness in accordance with the surrounding lighting. The model is equipped with an ECO remote control, which has antibacterial and antivirus coating. The microphone is built into both the TV itself and the ECO remote control. This way you are not limited to how to control the TV: remote control, voice, mobile phone – anything will do.

The Grundig Nano QLED GH 8700 TV has been awarded the prestigious iF Design Award 2023 . The model is equipped with a customizable metal stand with a convenient rotating mechanism; the design of the TV uses leather and metal.
