LG has announced its 2024 OLED evo TV series ahead of CES 2024, including the OLED G4 and SIGNATURE OLED M4. The new products are equipped with the new α11 AI processor, which effectively improves picture and sound quality, and is 70% faster in graphics performance and 30% faster in processing speed compared to its predecessor. Also, proprietary Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro technology is used to improve image quality.
LG SIGNATURE OLED M4, the successor to last year’s SIGNATURE OLED M3, is positioned by the company as the world’s first TV with wireless audio and video transmission with a resolution of up to 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels) and a frequency of 144 Hz. In addition to the 97-inch model, the LG SIGNATURE OLED M4 will also be available with a 65-inch diagonal. The TV comes with a Zero Connect Box wireless module, to which you can connect various signal sources via wire.
The rest of LG’s 2024 OLED TV series also support 4K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The high image quality of the new series is confirmed by the ClearMR certification of the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA).
The new products also support Game Optimizer, allowing gamers to easily switch between display presets for different gaming genres, and are compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync, eliminating screen tearing and input lag for smooth, dynamic and realistic displays gameplay.
High-quality sound is provided by speakers with a 11.1.2 configuration and the AI Sound Pro function, which optimizes sound settings in accordance with the content being played.
LG 2024 smart TVs run a new version of webOS. They can interface with smart home devices that support the universal IoT smart home interoperability standard Matter . The new products also have support for Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast for improved compatibility with mobile devices.
