Nokia has entered the European TV market with a range of Android TV models ranging from 43 to 70 inches in 4K resolution. The names of the new products include “QLED”, but they use quantum dots on a separate film along with an LCD to expand the color gamut. In fact, this is an entry-level QLED. Nokia QLED TVs are manufactured under license by Streamview.
The built-in Android TV runs on new products on quite standard hardware – a quad-core processor and 8 GB of memory. The system will please with access to services such as Disney + and Netflix. In addition, there are DVB-T2, S2 and C tuners on board.
According to Nokia, all QLED models come with a subwoofer, three HDMI 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and work with the Chromecast ecosystem. In addition, they provide a game mode. In some European countries, Nokia QLED TVs will appear before the end of January 2022.
Nokia QLED TVs range from €650 for the 43-inch model to €1,600 for the largest 70-inch screen.
