The Chinese company OnePlus has introduced a new budget TV Y line – the OnePlus TV 40Y1 model. The novelty received a body with thin frames and a 40-inch LCD panel with LED-backlit Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels. The claimed 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
There is a built-in audio system with two speakers of 10 W each and support for Dolby Audio technology. The TV is based on an as yet unnamed 64-bit processor, paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of permanent memory. OnePlus TV 40Y1 runs Android TV 9.0 operating system with a proprietary add-on OxygenPlay.
Interestingly, the new product supports not only the voice assistant from Google, but also a similar solution from Amazon. It is possible to control the TV from a smartphone thanks to the proprietary OnePlus Connect application. OnePlus TV 40Y1 is priced at $ 329. The start of sales of the TV set is scheduled for tomorrow, May 26th.
