TP Vision has unveiled a new line of Philips TVs for 2023, including OLED and MiniLED models.
Leading the lineup is the Philips OLED908 TV , made on a next – generation panel and promising a peak brightness of 2100 nits . The seventh-generation proprietary P5 AI processor is responsible for image processing , smart TV functions are assigned to the Google TV operating system , and the proprietary Next Gen Ambilight backlight system completes the picture. Gamers are formed to support Dolby Vision gaming at 4K / 120Hz, as well as FreeSync Premium and G-Sync . The TV’s sound system is made by Bowers & Wilkins , has a 3.1 configuration and is rated at 80 watts .
The Philips OLED808 mid – range model is built on the OLED EX panel and is capable of displaying a picture with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits . The lineup includes five TVs with screen sizes of 42, 48, 55, 65 and 77 inches, the processor part and the operating system are the same as in the older line – P5 AI and Google TV , Next Gen Ambilight backlight is also available .
Philips’ best-selling TV The One is now available in two versions – PUS8508 (43, 50, 55 and 65 inches) and PUS8808 (43, 50, 55, 65, 77 and 85 inches). The difference between the two is the refresh rate of the LCD panel – 60Hz vs 120Hz.
Another TV is called Philips The Xtra (PUS9308), its main feature is the use of Mini LED technology , peak brightness of 1000 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz . The TV will be available in two sizes – 55 and 65 inches and will hit the market in the second half of 2023.
