Samsung has recently introduced the budget-friendly OLED TVs S85D. The starting price for the 55-inch version is $1,700. The panels used in these TVs are reportedly from LG Display, although Samsung has not confirmed this detail.
These new TVs are powered by the NQ4 AI Gen2 chip, which promises exceptional picture quality. They also support Dolby Vision high dynamic range and offer a 120Hz refresh rate through the HDMI connector. This feature will be particularly appealing to owners of Sony PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The S85D models come with four HDMI connectors and provide access to the Xbox cloud gaming application through the Tizen operating system.
Apart from the 55-inch variant, customers have the option to choose from 65-inch or 75-inch models.
