Samsung Electronics will unveil its 77-inch quantum dot ( QD ) organic light emitting diode ( OLED ) TV at First Look 2023 on January 3 ahead of CES 2023 in Las Vegas. First, the novelty will be shown to large customers and the media, after which the QD-OLED TV can be seen at the company’s exhibition stand.

The 77-inch model will complement Samsung’s lineup of QD-OLED TVs, which currently includes the 55-inch and 65-inch models introduced earlier this year. With the 77-inch TV, Samsung is directly competing in the premium segment of OLED TVs.

Samsung’s next generation of QD-OLED TVs will reportedly have deeper black levels than today’s current QD-OLED TVs. The new TV will have 4K resolution, support HDR and run Tizen OS with Gaming Hub. For switching with video sources, HDMI 2.1 ports are provided.

Samsung ‘s first 77-inch QD -OLED TV will go on sale in North America and Europe in the first half of 2023.
