Xiaomi has announced in Europe a series of TVs Xiaomi TV Q2, which are equipped with quantum dot panels.

The line is represented by three models with a diagonal of 50”, 55” and 65”. Each is equipped with a 4K ULTRA HD QLED display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The image refresh rate is standard 60 Hz. DCI-P3 color gamut coverage – 92%.

The TVs have a speaker system with two speakers with a total power of 30 W, support for DTS: X and Dolby Atmos. The hardware platform is built around a 1.5GHz MTK 9611 chip with Mali-G52 graphics. The amount of RAM is 2 GB, and the eMMC drive is 16 GB.

Xiaomi TV Q2 TVs have three HDMI connectors (one with eARC support), two USB 2.0, Ethernet, headphone output, Wi-Fi 2.4 / 5 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0. The operating system Google TV is used as a software basis.

Price and when to expect
TVs are already on sale in Europe. The manufacturer’s recommended price for Xiaomi TV Q2 50 is $700, but a $150 discount is available for early buyers. Xiaomi TV Q2 55” was priced at €800 but is available at launch for $700. Finally, Xiaomi TV Q2 65” can now be bought for $850, after which the price will rise to $900.
