Xiaomi Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition and Mi TV ES

Xiaomi has announced the release of new TVs in China. The models were named Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition and Mi TV ES.

The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition boasts a slim body and narrow bezels around the display. The screen has 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The TV is available in 55 ″, 65 ″ and 75 ″ QLED matrices. In the first case, there are 100 lighting zones, in the second – 224 zones, and in the third – 255 zones. Claimed 97% DCI-P3 color space coverage and Dolby Vision HDR certification.

Inside the TV is a MediaTek MT9950 chipset, 4.5 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. There are also Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 modules. One of the features of the Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition is the 48MP dual retractable camera that allows you to make video calls. The power of the built-in speakers is 100 W (90 W in the 55 “model). Gamers should appreciate the presence of an HDMI 2.1 port and support for VRR technology.

Mi TV ES 2022 offers more modest specs. It is also available in three sizes: 55 ″, 65 ″ and 75 ″, but the number of lighting zones is smaller – 32, 45 and 60 zones, respectively. The 4K panel has a 60Hz refresh rate, HDR10 + support, and 94% DCI-P3 coverage. Responsible for the performance is the MediaTek MT9638 chip, there are 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. The built-in audio system has a power of 50 watts.
