The FiiO EH3 NC is slightly larger in volume but also in weight at 293 g from the average as much as the competitive one, fully foldable and accompanied by a good carrying case.
It is made of a combination of plastic and glass with satisfactory quality, while the removable pillows are quite spacious.
The ease of use is very good despite the extra weight, but the profile is not so distinctive. Active noise cancellation is simple on / off without the possibility of automatic smart adjustment. In practice, it works and does its job in terms of noise suppression, but it has a great negative impact on the quality of the sound when listening to music.
The control of the handset is done with three conventional buttons located on the right side, while the battery life is satisfactory with almost 25 hours of use.
In the technical field, the FiiO EH3 NC headset excels as it supports high resolution Bluetooth codecs such as aptX HD and LDAC, while there is also the possibility of USB connection to PC and 3.5mm analog input with the cables provided in the package. The FiiO EH3 NC Control application for Android and iOS provides the ability to equalize and additionally control the handset.
In terms of audio, the FiiO EH3 NC stands out since the existence of high resolution algorithms as well as the use of large guides (45mm diameter) with titanium coating give the EH3 NC the clear advantage.
