The all-analog design McIntosh MA352 features a tube preamp section that includes a pair of 12AX7A tubes and a pair of 12AT7 tubes. The transistor output stage is capable of delivering up to 200 watts per channel to 8 ohm speakers or 320 watts per channel to 4 ohm speakers. Dual dial gauge scales provide an accurate reading of the power output for both speaker impedances.

The McIntosh MA352 features 2 balanced XLR and 3 unbalanced RCA inputs, as well as 1 adjustable phono amplifier input for MM heads. The gold-plated speaker terminals are corrosion resistant and provide high-quality signal transmission to your speakers. The McIntosh MA352 has a preamp output for connecting an external, more powerful power amplifier. Also, the mentioned output can be used to connect 1 or 2 active subwoofers.

Audio enthusiasts have long argued the merits of traditional audio technologies like vacuum tubes vs. solid-state componentry. Like the vinyl vs. analog or CD vs. digital music debates, it can create heated discussion regarding what constitutes better sound. With the original MA252 integrated amplifier and now with the MA352, McIntosh uses its seven decades of audio know-how to use each technology for its highest and best use.
