Paradigm Monitor SE 8000F floor standing units are the older model of the Monitor series created by the Canadian company Paradigm, known for its mathematical approach to creating accurate acoustics. The speaker leads a series of six models, united by common technologies, elements and series characteristics. These systems belong to the budget class, but Canadians know how to get quality sound with affordable means.

The Paradigm Monitor SE 8000F is a 5-driver, 3-way bass reflex, packed with technologies found in much more expensive loudspeakers. Paradigm is renowned for its ability to design its acoustics so that signature sound complements the precision of true Hi-Fi – high fidelity systems.

Monitor SE systems leverage Paradigm’s fundamental research into the science of sound. Like all Monitor Series systems, the SE 8000F features X-PAL pure aluminum dome tweeters. These are dynamic drivers with ferrofluid damping / cooling. They are protected by the patented PPA acoustic perforated phase-alignment lens, which can be seen in the brand’s most reference models. This exclusive design acts as an advanced phase shutter, blocking out a wide range of out-of-phase frequencies, which boosts and smoothes the output signal without coloring the sound. Proprietary PPA Lens technology, visually appealing and functional, enhancing sound and protecting the tweeter from damage is protected by US patent 10,003,869.

The low / mid frequencies in the SE 8000F are handled by drivers fitted with mineral filled polypropylene cones. Inverted dust caps give them lightness combined with rigidity. The Monitor SE 8000F has one six and a half inch midrange. Three 8-inch woofers are responsible for low frequencies, allowing bass to sound light and powerful.

The Monitor SE 8000F speakers received two backward-facing bass reflex ports, located symmetrically about the horizontal axis. The four pillars of the body are slightly moved beyond the dimensions for greater stability, which means better reproduction in the low frequency range. The terminals of the acoustic cable are installed on platforms recessed into the body.

Downroll speaker bezels provide a designer look for speakers that blend well with any décor. The finishing of proportional, discreet cases is also aimed at this. They are available in high-gloss white or matt black.
