HUAWEI MatePad 10.4 2022

The most affordable tablet in our ranking is the HUAWEI MatePad 10.4 model released in 2022. The gadget runs on the proprietary operating system HarmonyOS 2 – in terms of interface, it resembles a cross between Android and iPadOS. The tablet also supports the second-generation Huawei Pencil stylus, so you can use it to draw and take quick freehand notes.
The cost of the model with Wi-Fi and 64 GB of internal memory starts from $300. For the version with support for SIM cards, you have to pay another $50. There is also a version with 128 GB, you can add a memory card up to 512 gigs to any tablet.
The device is powered by an energy-efficient Huawei Kirin 710A processor and is equipped with a 7250 mAh battery, with which it will last about 12 hours of video playback. For video calls, a front camera with an 8 MP sensor is provided. Among the advantages of the tablet, we also note a good audio system with four speakers tuned by Harman / Kardon.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021)

The second in the top tablets of 2022 is last year’s Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. Presented in Wi-Fi and Cellular versions, the storage capacity can be 32, 64 or 128 GB, and RAM – 3 or 4 GB. The price of the optimal model with 4/128 GB is $390. The memory can be expanded up to a whole TB with a microSD card.
The tablet received not the most powerful Unisoc Tiger T618 processor, so it’s not worth buying for gaming. But for reading books, video chats and watching movies – a good option. The screen is large enough to consume content (10.5 inches), although it is based on an inexpensive TFT-matrix with not the highest resolution for this diagonal.
Xiaomi Pad 5

One of the best tablets to date is the Xiaomi Pad 5 model. It is presented in one configuration: with Wi-Fi and 6/128 GB of memory. Such a tablet costs about $557.
The gadget received a large 11-inch screen with high resolution and support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. With a powerful Snapdragon 860 processor, it is suitable for both gaming and content processing, such as photo and video processing. Also, the model received 4 speakers, which will be especially appreciated by fans of watching movies on a tablet. Another interesting detail is that the camera on the rear panel with a resolution of 13 megapixels can record videos in 4K 30 fps. Such an opportunity is rarely found in tablets.
Apple iPad 2021

The redesigned iPad with 10.2-inch Retina display is rightfully considered one of the best tablets for study and creativity. In addition, it is the most affordable among the new Apple models – a Wi-Fi version with 64 GB of memory can be bought on the Yandex Market for $830 and with SIM support – for $1000.
The new iPad received an Apple A13 Bionic processor, which is traditionally more powerful than the previous generation and easily copes with any tasks – even when working with augmented reality, gaming or video processing. Current versions of iPadOS also allow you to open several applications at once in Split View mode – for example, to simultaneously work with a photo editor and communicate with someone via video call.
The battery has also become larger – the iPad will last up to 10 hours in active mode.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8

The latest Galaxy Tab line, which was released in early 2022, includes three models: S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra. For the rating, we chose the basic version, since they all differ mainly in size and work on the same processor: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, made using a 4 nm process technology. This is a fairly powerful solution for gaming, working with video and other heavy content, creating music, and studying. The tablet also supports a stylus with which you can sketch or create complex layered drawings. And the pen comes with the kit.
The model is equipped with a 13 + 6 MP dual rear camera and a 12 MP wide-angle front camera. The amount of RAM is 8 GB, built-in memory – 128 or 256 GB. There is support for microSD up to 1 TB. The cost of the Wi-Fi version starts at $1400, for a model with a SIM card they ask from $1500.
