The aesthetics provided by the Philips 65PUS8887 seems acceptable to us, yes, we notice that it does not present many changes compared to previously seen versions. This detail could seem somewhat negative, but we are talking about an aspect that has aged in a good way and seems appropriate to us.

It should be noted that its dimensions are 842.2 x 1450.5 x 170 mm for a 65-inch TV . These data indicate that it will be a good option if you have large rooms or halls. We noticed that it integrates correctly and gives a better view regardless of the angle from which it is viewed.

Surely it is the most interesting section, which does not turn out to be anything common. At least not for the mid-range that has almost always handled simple connectivity . But in this television we find connectors that greatly improve the experience when using them.

It seems to us that the most important aspect is found in the image offered by the Philips 65PUS8887/12, which we must find regular for reasons that we will mention. First of all, we have a 4K resolution that by power seeks to give visual details with a certain realism.

The bad thing ends up being the inclusion of a  Direct LED backlight that unfortunately does not have local dimming, which these days seems very necessary for a deeper visual experience. The lack of such technology makes the TV struggle.

The power in the speakers does not seem to be adequate because it only includes 20W,  which is still normal in the mid-range , however, we note that most current content requires higher quality so that we can at least hear clearly and accurately. .

What saves the sound is the inclusion of several technologies that provide an immersive  and  precise experience , especially in the dialogues and the ambient sound that, as a rule, is what most affects this category due to the little audio available. Therefore, it does not become negative.

The Philips 65PUS8887  looks like a well-equipped television, obviously its operating system is not far behind and we have Android TV in version 11 that stands out for many reasons. The main one is that it offers the Play Store  with more than 7,000 applications that are constantly updated.

In addition to that, we can download music, games and rent movies to enjoy on the TV without much complication. It offers compatibility with  Google Assistant  and  Alexa , two assistants that stand out for facilitating certain actions, and this is because we can control them using only our voice.
