JBL has presented a new, unusual portable subwoofer BassPro Go, which can be used both inside a car by connecting it to a standard 12 volt power source, or separately, for which there is a built-in battery that provides up to 8 hours of continuous playback.
In the latter case, two wideband 40 mm tweeters are additionally connected to the 120mm woofer and passive radiator. And in a portable form, the novelty can be used to charge mobile gadgets, for which a USB port is provided. When used in a car, for maximum ease of installation of the subwoofer, all wires are combined into one quick-release connector, and for a secure fixation of the BassPro Go, a docking station is provided in the form of a platform with latches.
As a portable device, the novelty produces a power of 70 W, and in the form of stationary car acoustics – all 100 W. The JBL BassPro Go has a suggested retail price of $360. Meanwhile, the Garmin Venu 2S smartwatch received a 1.3-inch screen and a protected case.
